According to Samsung’s UK official Twitter account, the Android 2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy S is currently in development and will be available in September for all networks. They didn’t mentioned about the US variants of the Galaxy S, but as Samsung said that all Galaxy S models will receive Android 2.2 by the end of this year, so you dont’t need to worry if you can taste FroYo or not or your Galaxy S phone. Recently, Sprint also announced that Android2.2 for the EVO 4G is coming out next week.

The code will help devs with the “the real hard work in a making a Mac version” of their titles.  “So our Steamworks partners will have access to some of the hard work that we do to get our games up on Mac,” Valve’s Jason Holtman said, “and they’ll be able to incorporate that into their games — and our hope is it gets them there faster.” The code will be available to developers that are part of Valve’s Steamworks developer program
