Now they are reaching out to developers and offering some of their Mac-specific code used to port PC titles to OS X. The code will help devs with the “the real hard work in a making a Mac version” of their titles. “So our Steamworks partners will have access to some of the hard work that we do to get our games up on Mac,” Valve’s Jason Holtman said, “and they’ll be able to incorporate that into their games — and our hope is it gets them there faster.” The code will be available to developers that are part of Valve’s Steamworks developer program
